Firefighters operate in the lube pit to extinguish fire
March 1, 2003.  Firefighters were called to the Jiffy Lube at Route 1 and Montgomery Street for a reported fire in the building.  First arriving units reported light smoke showing and forced entry into the building.  The crew from Engine 103 advanced an attack line into the building and found a fire in the lube pit in the garage/service area.  The crew quickly extinguished the fire with crews from Tower 10, Tower 31 and Squad 49 assisting in ventilation and overhaul.  No injuries were reported.
