Working Townhouse Fire On West Street
May 11, 2003.  Fire broke out just after 10pm in an end unit townhouse at 918 West St.  Assistant Chief Frost (10B) arrived on the scene with heavy fire showing.  The crew from Engine 102 pulled a 21/2 inch line and knocked the bulk of the fire.  Units from Howard (Savage 6, Rivers Park 10), Anne Arundel (Maryland City 27) Counties along with Laurel Rescue, Beltsville and Calverton assisted.  The fire was contained to the front portions of both the first and second floors.  One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
