Afternoon Fire Burns Town Center Apartment

May 29, 2003.  Firefighters were dispatched to 13500 Attleboro Ct. for smoke coming from the building.  Car 67 (hazmat coordinator) was in the area and was first arriving on the scene reporting heavy smoke coming from a rear apartment on the third floor.  The crew from Engine 103 quickly knocked the fire, which extended slightly into the cockloft above the fire.  There were no injuries reported.  Just three hours before, Engine 103 and crew responded to Howard Co. for a working house fire on High Ridge Rd. in Scaggsville.
