Cooking units and hood system burned from grease fire
October 6, 2003:  LVFD and surrounding companies were dispatched for a building fire at the Dunkin Donuts, 14903 Baltimore Ave. (Rt.1) just before 6:30pm.  First arriving companies found smoke showing from the one story building.  A grease fire in a cooking unit ignited the exhaust system duct work sending heavy black smoke out the vent in the roof.  Crews quickly extinguished the fire with no extension to the building.  A working fire task force was requested as a precaution in the initial minutes of the call, however, those units were not used and the majority of the first alarm as well as the task force were returned within the half hour.  No injuries were reported.
