Firefighters operate to extinguish fire in the attic

February 5, 2003.  Shortly after 3pm firefighters were alerted to a reported house fire at 1010 Marton St.  Engine 102 arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke showing from the 2 story single family dwelling.  Crews quickly performed a search and found that all occupants were out.  The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes with crews staying on the scene for over 2 hours for extensive overhaul.
