Feb 10, 2001. Laurel firefighters were called for mutual aid to Howard County for a reported basement fire at 9716 Whiskey Run Rd. in North Laurel. Engine 102, and Tower 10 arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the 2 story end unit townhouse. The crew from Engine 102 established the initial attack on the fire in the basement. The fire followed a pipe chase with some extension to the second floor. The bulk of the fire was quickly extinguished with the companies remaining on the scene for extensive overhaul.Click here for more photos and a short video.
