Pickup Truck Crashes Into Firehouse

Feb 9, 2000.  A pickup truck occupied by an unidentified couple went out of control and struck the firehouse.  Witnesses said the couple had stopped by the firehouse to get a blood pressure check.  When backing out of their parking spot, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the side entrance door along with the brick wall.  The driver was transported by medic 49 (PGFD medic unit from Laurel) to Prince Georges County Hospital.  His condition was not known.  The members of the LVFD wish him a speedy recovery.
