
April 13, 2002. LVFD President Jimmy Collins and Chief Richard Blankenship led the program at the Centennial Life Members' Dinner held at the firehouse. The Life Members' dinner is an annual event to honor those achieving a minimum of 25 years of service. This year, Lee Leisher, Warren Stanton and Deputy Chief Phil Techau were awarded 25 years of service. After 25 years of service, a member is given life membership in the department. Joseph Robison, who joined the department in March 1952 was awarded 50 years of service.President Collins (left) introduces members with over 50 years of service.
