Main Street Festival is an LVFD Tradition

"Old Liz" is shined up and ready to go to Main Street.

For the past 21 years the LVFD has participated in the annual Main Street Festival and parade.  As the first parade of the season, the members look forward to shining up the trucks and showing them off on the trip down Main Street.  Our day starts off early with everybody pitching in to clean the apparatus.
While crews are cleaning the trucks, Lt. Saylor makes the riding assignments. Throughout the parade and the activities that follow, the LVFD responds to calls as normal.
Firefighters (L to R) Dennis Carl, and Phil Clinard finish off a snack before leaving for the parade.
Waiting in the line up for the parade to begin.  (L to R) Firefighters Jerry Stiles, Dennis Carl, John Fairall, and Phil Clinard shoot the breeze until parade time.
Lt. Eddie Saylor and Firefighter Lee Leisher work the LVFD Carnival Spirit Cruise raffle table.  The LVFD is raffling off an 8 day 7 night cruise package as part of our fund raising efforts.  Tickets are $5.00 each with only 1500 to be sold.
