LVFD Goes To Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute For Live Fire Training

October 26, 2002.  Several LVFD firefighters attended a live fire training at the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute (MFRI) at the University Of Maryland in College Park Md.  As part of the continuing training required by all members, a crew spent Saturday afternoon attacking fires set in the specially designed MFRI burn building.  While LVFD members were training, firefighters from The Savage Volunteer Fire Department filled in at Co. 10 to cover emergency calls in Laurel.  Thanks to Savage Volunteers for the assist.
