July 5, 2003. Several members of the LVFD participated in Laurel's annual 4th of July celebration parade. The parade was held Saturday morning July 5th. This year, LVFD's Fire Safety Team added a children's float to the parade. The float was used to promote fire safety. Hector the fire safety clown, Dottie, and Teddie all marched in the parade. The LVFD Honor guard led the parade with all LVFD apparatus following behind. Click here to see photos of the parade.
