Police FOP Lodge 11 present Check to Carol Yarrow of the Red Cross.
December 18th, 2001. As a result of the September 11th attacks, the LVFD and Laurel Police FOP Lodge 11 joined forces on September 29th for a boot drive to collect money to benefit police and fire fighters of New York City. Members collected money from passing motorists at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Rt.1. Carol Yarrow Chief Public Support Officer for the American Red Cross came to fire department headquarters to receive a check for $12,841.80. The check was presented to her by Fire Department President Jimmy Collins, Laurel Police Chief Roy Gilmore and FOP Lodge 11 President PFC Patrick Bray.
