February 10, 2002.  Cub Scout Pack 9 from Laurel visited the firehouse on Sunday afternoon.  LVFD's Hector The Fire Safety clown presented his unique fire safety program to the scouts.  Hector, LVFD member Mike Crotts, has developed his own fire safety routine which he presents to kids here and all over the state. Pack 9 got an hour fire safety workout which included Hector's patented magic show, smoke detector testing, home escape practice, Stop-Drop-&-Roll, 911 telephone simulator, and of course a tour of the fire apparatus.  Below is a collection of pictures from the event.
