Engine And Tower Operate At Maryland City 4th Alarm

Tower 10 flows dual master streams
March 16, 2003.  Engine and Tower 10 were dispatched to the Shoppers Food Warehouse, 3453 Laurel Fort Meade Road, in Maryland City (Anne Arundel County) at 9pm Sunday night.  The call began as an investigation for Maryland City Company 27.  When they arrived on the scene, they found heavy smoke coming from the store.  Engine 101 picked up Engine 271's dual lines and supplied them as well as Tower 10.  Tower 10 initiated an aerial attack to knock down extensive fire spread in the roof area.  Then the tower was repositioned to in front of the store front windows to hit the bulk of the fire inside the store.  Companies from Prince George's, Howard, and Baltimore Counties operated at the height of the fire.  No injuries were reported and the units from LVFD were released around 0230.
