Tower on 3-alarm Apartment Fire in Anne Arundel County

 

Shortly after 0400 hrs, Tower 10, along with other companies from PG and Howard County, was dispatched mutual aid to Anne Arundel County for the apartment fire at the 3500 block of Fort Meade Rd.  Crews arrived with heavy fire showing from a 4th floor apartment at the Horizon Square Apartment Complex.  The fire had extended from the 4th floor apartment to the 5th floor apartment.  Anne Arundel Chief 27 called for a 2nd alarm upon arrival and a 3rd shortly after.  Tower 10’s crew was on scene for approximately 4 hours, performing various operations including fire attack, search, and overhaul.

 

There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters.
